Description
“FURO-SHIKI” literally means “bathroom spread”.
It is a large square cloth used to wrap clothes and belongings when going to the bathhouse.
Furoshiki are decorated with patterns and family crests to help users recognize their belongings.
But Furoshiki are also traditionally used to wrap and transport goods not related to bathing, and are a must to wrap a formal gift as well as a heartfelt present.
